Tartar remover – mechanical attachment to support tooth cleaning
The emmi tartar remover is a practical tool to specifically supplement your dog's dental care – especially for heavy plaque buildup and stubborn stains on the teeth. Important: This attachment does not transmit ultrasound and there is no mechanical movement (no vibration/rotation). It is used manually via a controlled, gentle abrasion.
What makes the emmi tartar remover special?
- Mechanical support: for the careful loosening or removal of hard deposits
- Flexible use: manual or as an attachment as part of your dental care routine
- Compatible: suitable for emmi-pet as well as emmi-dent ultrasonic toothbrushes Metallic and Go. The tartaar remover can also be used without attaching it to an emmi-toothbrush.
- Without ultrasound: No ultrasound is transmitted
- No movement: no rotating or vibrating attachment – you work completely manually.
Use on your pet
For the best routine, combine the gentle ultrasonic dental care with the manual attachment:
- First, brush your pet's teeth with the emmi-pet: Brush your pet's teeth with the emmi-pet. Hold the ultrasonic toothbrush against each tooth for at least 10 seconds (longer is fine) – without scrubbing.
- Then use the tartar remover: Use the emmi-pet tartar remover afterwards to gently push down or remove impurities loosened/dissolved by the ultrasound .
- Be gentle: Use light pressure and short movements. With your pet, it's better to do things regularly and gently than too much at once.
Important information for safe use
- Avoid strong pressure: excessive friction can damage tooth enamel.
- For stubborn deposits: it's better to increase the cleaning time with emmi-pet devices using 100% original ultrasound as needed, rather than rubbing too hard mechanically.
- If you are unsure (e.g., sensitive gums, bleeding, severe pain): please have it checked by a veterinarian.
Who is the emmi-pet tartar remover suitable for?
Ideal for dog owners who want to meaningfully supplement their daily dental care – especially for visible plaque and areas where dirt stubbornly adheres. For long-term oral hygiene, a consistent routine (regular brushing) remains the most important element.
