RENATE POMP

experience report

"We (Bettina Ficner, Sandra Piazza-Wagener, Renate Pomp) shouted in short intervals. After a short break, the dog owner, who had no experience with the emmi®-pet, pushed the tartar plate down with her fingernail with a little pressure at our instruction.

We, Bettina Ficner, a long-standing member of the Terrier Club, Sandra Piazza-Wagener and I, were at the special exhibition of the Terrier Club e.V. in Bensheim on July 9, 2017.

After the actual exhibition, we did a separate demonstration for the members of the club, since they had been busy entertaining the exhibitors all day long. This is how we got these results.

This event triggered a bulk order from the Terrier Club. Bettina's website will appear on their homepage in the future. We have already been invited to further events.” – Renate Pomp, July 2017

DIETMAR RENNER

experience report

"We have been using the emmi®-pet for almost a month now. Our Pluto has now got used to brushing his teeth. The result is simply sensational. I don't regret having followed a friend's recommendation! Our dog's tartar has completely disappeared after just a few uses and his gums have also regenerated. My compliments to the "makers"! Simply great..." - Dietmar Renner, Linz

emmi®-pet Ultrasonic Toothbrush Reviews

Dörte Sladek from Kaufbeuren

The toothbrush is quite easy to use and it works well, as some tartar has already come off my dog's teeth. The brush had turned a dark color. It was difficult the first time I brushed because my dog didn't really want to. The more often you do it, the easier it becomes as he gets used to it. He seems to like the toothpaste, and he always starts sucking on it with his tongue. With a little practice, I can recommend the Emmi ultrasonic toothbrush. My dog's bad breath has improved, but it hasn't completely gone. Perhaps this will improve with more frequent use.

Manu Goebel from Schwalbach

We have been using the emmi-pet ultrasonic toothbrush for almost 2 weeks. After an initial period of familiarization, our dog can be “treated” with it without stress. We practiced with the brush head every day, and at first the dog was allowed to sniff and lick it, as well as the toothpaste. It was only after a few days that we put the head on the handle and started actively cleaning. We were able to see visible success on the outside of the teeth quite quickly; the inside is a little more difficult, but with a little practice, it can be done.

All in all, the dental plaque has already decreased significantly in this short time and if we can spare our dog an expensive dental treatment under anesthesia with this toothbrush, the emmi-pet ultrasonic toothbrush is definitely worth its price.

Manon Grossmann from Borkow

The packaging of the toothbrush is very high quality and gives an immediate impression of superior quality. The scope of delivery was very extensive and we were able to use the toothbrush after charging it for 12 hours.

My dogs are not used to having their teeth brushed, so we started slowly by letting them sniff the toothbrush first. What was very unusual at first was that the EmmiPet makes no noise or movement. You can only tell from the green light that it is on and that only works when the brush head is attached.

We applied a little toothpaste every day and held the EmmiPet on each tooth for 5 seconds. They didn't like the taste so much at the beginning, but after 7 days they tolerated it quite well. On days when we didn't have the patience to do it as regularly, I applied the toothpaste gel to the back of their molars.
After the first few applications, there was already a noticeable reduction in the loose tartar and dirt on the teeth. Now, after 2 weeks of use, the inflamed areas have decreased and even the stubborn plaque is slowly coming off. I am very surprised at this effect and am pleased that my dogs can now be spared a dental cleaning under anesthesia.
The effort was quite large in the initial phase, since the dogs were not enthusiastic, of course. But now it is going quite well and we have increased the application interval to every three days.

Manuela Trendelberend from Gütersloh

The handle must first be charged, which takes 24 hours and is indicated by the blue LED. When the LED goes out, the battery is full.

The brush attachments can be easily plugged in and unplugged, yet they still fit well. Starting point: My dog is a 3.5-year-old Tervueren Belgian shepherd dog with severe discoloration on her fangs and lighter coating on her molars. No bad breath. She has a very good relationship of trust with me. She is a certified rescue dog, so she has a strong character and is not timid.First application: My dog looks at me a bit skeptically, lets it happen, she tries to wipe the toothpaste away with her tongue. Since the toothbrush does not vibrate and makes no noise, she does not have a strong aversion. For me, it's rather strange that I need neither pressure nor movement when brushing. Slight soiling and plaque are gone after 2-3 applications. The tougher ones weaken a bit, but are still there. I can't say whether they will go away after such a short time.

I think the Emmi-Pet ultrasonic toothbrush is a good choice for a normal dog/human relationship. With very fearful dogs, it takes patience and a careful approach to avoid building up an aversion. Since the device neither vibrates nor makes any noise, it is really only getting used to the device.

I have not yet tested the Orozyme Tooth Care Gel because I consider the Emmi-Pet Ultrasonic Toothbrush to be more important and did not want to falsify the test.
