Dog Beds — the right sleeping spot for every type of dog
Relaxation and comfort for your four-legged friend
Dogs are more than just pets, they are family members, loyal companions and our best friends. And just like us humans, they need a good night's sleep to be healthy and happy. This is where dog beds come into play, which are not just places to sleep, but places of relaxation and comfort for our furry friends.
Give your furry friend the rest and relaxation he deserves with the emmi-pet Dog beds. Our high-quality dog beds are designed to offer your pet the highest level of comfort and a restful sleeping experience.
A comfortable dog bed improves the quality of your dog's sleep. He can lie down, twist and turn comfortably and feels safe and secure. This leads to a deeper and more restful sleep, which is crucial for his health. A dog bed of his own offers your dog a safe place to retreat to. This can reduce stressful situations as your dog can relax in his own space.
Suitable for dogs with back or joint problems
Our dog beds are particularly suitable for dogs and four-legged friends with back or joint problems. The memory foam adapts perfectly to the shape of your pet's body, relieves pressure points and supports the joints to minimize pain.
Dogs are loyal companions, but over time, just like humans, they can develop health problems, especially in the area of the joints and back. These problems can range from arthritis to hip dysplasia to simple signs of aging. In such cases, a suitable dog bed with orthopedic support is invaluable.
What makes an orthopedic dog bed so special? The answer lies in the memory foam that forms the base of these beds. This foam adapts perfectly to the shape of your dog's body and provides even support for the joints and spine. This reduces pressure on the painful areas, which can lead to significant pain relief.
A comfortable sleeping environment is particularly important for dogs with back or joint problems. An orthopedic dog bed offers exactly that. It allows your dog to sleep in a comfortable position, relieves pressure on the joints and ensures a deep and restful sleep.
Another important consideration is mobility. Dogs with joint problems often have difficulty getting up and moving. An orthopedic dog bed can improve this mobility by relieving pain and providing a supportive sleeping environment.
Another great benefit is the prevention of joint problems. Even if your dog does not yet have joint problems, using an orthopedic dog bed can help prevent these problems. It is an investment in the long-term health and well-being of your four-legged friend.
Our two dog bed lines
Orthopedic Line: ASTRO, CHAI, and HUSKY
All three orthopedic models share the same three-layer construction: a premium bolster made of visco-foam and fiber mix for the rim and headrest, a middle visco-layer with 35 DNS that adapts to your dog's body shape and relieves pressure points, and a supportive soft-foam base with 28 DNS that remains dimensionally stable and durable. Double certified with OEKO-TEX Standard 100 for the outer cover and CertiPUR for the foam. Cover removable via a robust zipper, 600 denier non-slip bottom, water-repellent inner structure. What distinguishes the three models is the bolster shape, not the comfort.
Woolart Comfort Line: LEGEND and SPIRIT
Handmade in the factory, outer cover certified according to OEKO-TEX Standard 100, filling made of A-grade silicone fiber and shredded foam. Instead of 600-denier fabric, here's a non-slip waterjet-backed bottom with silicone dots that even gets firmer with washing. The cover is not removable, but the entire bed can be machine washed at 30 °C.
Which dog bed suits your dog?
The answer depends less on size and more on how your dog sleeps. Observe him for a day. Does he curl up into a ball? Does he stretch out his paws? Does he look for an edge to rest his head on?
For senior dogs and joint issues
ASTRO, CHAI, and HUSKY are all three orthopedically constructed. The visco foam distributes weight evenly, the soft foam supports from below, and the bed retains its shape for months. Which of the three is right depends on your dog's preferred bolster shape.
For cuddlers and nest sleepers
If your dog curls up into a ball when sleeping, it needs a continuous bolster. The CHAI has the deepest nesting bolster and is additionally orthopedically constructed: the premium solution for snugglers with joint issues. If you are looking for a similar look without the visco-elastic construction, the oval LEGEND is a more affordable and simpler option.
For active dogs and large animals
Active dogs don't like climbing over a high edge. The HUSKY has a lower entry on one side while still providing the orthopedic Visco structure. The ASTRO with premium bolster is more generously cut, making it suitable for larger dogs who enjoy leaning against things during the day.
For travel, the office, and multiple berths
If you need a mobile sleeping solution for a hotel, car, or office, the SPIRIT is the right choice. Flat, quilted, lightweight. It can be transported with one hand and is also a useful addition to the main bed as a secondary bed in the kitchen or bedroom.

Which size is the right one?
Measure your dog from the nape of the neck to the base of the tail when he is lying down relaxed. Add 15 to 20 cm so that he can stretch without overhanging. For most models, we carry several sizes. When in doubt, the next size up is better than too small, especially for dogs who tend to wander in their sleep.

Which dog bed is good for puppies?

What do 35 DNS and 28 DNS mean?
DNS stands for the density of the foam in kg per m³. 35 DNS is the medium-firm Visco layer that adapts to your dog's body shape and relieves pressure points. 28 DNS refers to the supportive soft foam as the sub-layer. The combination provides a balance of comfort and stability.
What does CertiPUR mean?

What exactly does "slip-resistant" mean?
What exactly does "slip-resistant" mean?
The underside also stays put on parquet, laminate, and tile floors. For ASTRO, CHAI, and HUSKY, this is ensured by a 600-denier backing. For LEGEND and SPIRIT, a water-jet backing with silicone dots takes care of this.
Why handcrafted dog beds?
Why handcrafted dog beds?
The first weak points in simple dog beds are almost always the seams. Industrially mass-produced goods use wide stitches because it's faster. Dogs find precisely these loose seams and pull them open. Handcrafted beds have denser stitches and cleaner outer edges.
